Sponsored by The Welsh Assembly Government the exhibition "Keeping Up with the Joneses: The Story of Wales and the Welsh in the USA,” tells the full story of Welsh immigration from the early settlements in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania through the War of Independence, the American Civil War, and immigration through Ellis Island. It concludes with present day "settlers" such as Sir Howard Stringer, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Sir Tom Jones.

"Keeping Up With The Joneses" is being hosted by Harriton House and sponsored by the Lower Merion Historical Society in conjunction with The Welsh Society and is part of the ongoing celebration of the 325 Anniversary of the First Welsh Settlement in Lower Merion and Narberth and William Penn's Landing.
