Annwyl Cyfellion (Dear Welsh Friends and Friends of the Welsh):

As I write these greetings, the temperature is in the 80s, but it will soon be time to gather for the Annual Thanksgiving Gymanfa Ganu on Sunday afternoon, November 18 at 3:30 p.m. in the Capel Dewi Sant, scene of the visit of HRH the Prince of Wales in January 2007. Our Conductor for the afternoon is Jay G. Williams III of Clinton, NY, who has conducted gymanfoed all over the nation. A practicing attorney, Mr. Williams is also a Commissioned Lay Pastor and active in Welsh affairs in central New York. Our great friend and recent Robert Morris Award recipient, Jack R. Williams, Jr., will once again be at the organ. Both the 18th Street entrance and the Handicap Ramp through the Todd Courtyard (to the left of the main Arch Street steps) are available.
A gathering of Welsh would be incomplete without the traditional Té Bach (Welsh Tea) after the gymanfa in the Social Hall, so we will count on your presence and your appetites. (If able, food donations are appreciated.) What a great afternoon of prayer and song and fellowship it will be!
