White Water Rafting

This is from our day in the Lehigh River near Allentown, PA in May. Pictured in the foreground from left to right are: Rick, Brian and Jodi.

There were twenty two of us on this little expedition and naturally everyone wanted to be in Donaco's boat. But we had to spilt up for safety reasons.

The bunch of us were out white water rafting to celebrate another Brian's graduation from Temple University.

Now in Pennsylvania, white water rafting is fun but it's only dangerous if you do something stupid like stand up in the raft and fall overboard and split your head open . If you're not drunk and/or stupid, you'll be just fine. See, in, say, Colorado, they have what are known as "Class VI" rapids which can do crazy things to your boat... or your life. But here in Pennsylvania, our rapids are "Class III" which really just translates as "Fun!".

We screamed and pretended we were scared but it was just an act. It was all about convincing ourselves that we were getting our money's worth.
