As a side note, the author has reported receiving some nasty e-mails about his decision to discontinue the editor. This ranks very low on the Cool Things To Do To Other People meter.
There is a new RPG named Jewel of Arabia: Dreamers, coming out soon from ,Quarter Note Software. Release date suggests a September, 1998, release time frame.
In addition, Cyberflix's Redjack: Revenge of the Bretheren and Reality Bytes' Dark Vengeance are coming soon for those with the horsepower to run them. I'm eagerly looking forward to both.
For those seeking violent depression, Interplay has a new Fallout 2 web site and news about the title is making the rounds in the various PC game magazines. I'm not providing links.
For those seeking your RPG thrills elsewhere, there are a number of RPG projects that are released or coming down the pike for the Macintosh. They are, in no particular order:

While not directly Fallout related, the gonzo E3 expo just wrapped up in Atlanta. You can check out some of the new and rising titles coming soon to your Macintosh at the Mac-centric Mac Gamer's Ledge/Tikkabik and Inside Mac Games Magazine E3 wrapup pages. Both sites are a part of my daily web surf.
I'd also like to thank all the Vault 84 visitors who have written in with their tips, tricks, pages, and other useful info. There is an acknowledgements page in the works, so you can see your name here in Internet Lights soon!
While cleaning up my computer desk, I found a page of notes for the DYN page. The information for the Children of the Cathedral location is much more complete now.
I'm thinking of doing a page here for we Mac folk called "Games To Play While Waiting For/In Place of Fallout and Fallout 2." Leading contenders right now are Cyberflix Dust and Titanic. My girlfriend and I just finished Dust last night, it being the first game since Fallout that we could bring ourselves to play. Watch this space.....
A new Fallout 2 for Macintosh advocacy web site has sprung up. It neatly summarizes all the ways you can help bring Fallout 2 to the Mac. Check it out!
Happy New Year, everybody!
I've added a specific page for Sequel Information, and am keeping a close watch for any news on a Mac version.
Power Macintosh 8600/9500/9600 Owners: I've also added a note about running Fallout on your machines to the Troubleshooting Page. Check it out if you're having trouble getting Fallout to run on your machine!
There is a contributor's page in the works, and I'm also thinking about replaying the game so I can flesh out the Did Ya Notice page.
I finished the game last weekend and have entered post-Fallout decompression. I have a small pile of adventure games sitting on my desk which got shoved aside for Fallout, and I really can't get myself motivated to play any of them.
In any event, the links page was updated and some more info was added on the sequel and the likelihood of it showing up on the Mac. I'll get to work on completing the DYN page and some new sections after I finish repainting my bathroom.
Updated the Did Ya Notice page with tips and observations on the bartering bug and a full description of the goodies available in the Glow.
We are now part of the Fallout Webring. There's some more easter eggs and some improved graphics coming your way real soon, so watch this space!
This site! We went live today. Currently, pages are a little lean on content (sorry, I'm spending all my available time right now playing the game!), but I'm aiming to improve that.
The Did Ya Notice (DYN) page is not very complete at the moment (like I said, I'm still playing the game).
