TwinMax

Review

I ordered a TwinMax (electronic carburettor balancer) from:

    Adventure Motorcycles Gear
    http://www.adventuremotogear.com/
    P.O. Box 366, Springfield VA 22150
    703-913-7261

The price was $79.95, plus $4.75 shipping, for a total of $84.70.

I noticed previous postings about the TwinMax mentions it uses the bike's battery for power. It looks like there has been an update -- the unit I received has an internal 9 volt battery.

The TwinMax is great! Not only is it small (5"x2"x1.5") enough to take along on an extended trip, but is very easy to use.

Here are the instructions for use:
  1. Turn the power on.
  2. Connect pipes to carb A and B.
  3. Adjust sensitivity knob to max and adjust zero
  4. Turn the sensitivity know fully to mini.
  5. Start the engine.
  6. Adjust carbs to obtain equal deviation from zero.
  7. Increase sensitivity.
  8. Improve balance if necessary.
