What brings a smile to my face? Friends and family... special events and excursions... music, anime, books, and magazines... a quiet day at home... Life is filled with joys, great and small. We seem to forget that periodically.
I think the real trick in life is to keep things in perspective. I am sometimes reminded of a quote by Porky Pine, a sullen native of Walt Kelly's Okeefenokee Swamp, "Don't take life so serious. It ain't nohow permanent." There is room in my journey for fun.
