THE ALMIGHTY

The Almighty started in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1988. The original member was; Ricky Warwick(Vo. & G.), Tantrum(G.), Floyd London(B.), and Stumpy(Dr.). In 1989, they got a contract with Polydor, then released the first album "Blood, Fire & Love." (for more detail, see the Discography!)
In 1996, at Rockcity, London, when they played as a secret guest at the concert of Paradise Lost, they declared they decided to split up. As their last shows, they toured in Japan in June,1996. HOWEVER, they seem reunited in 1999.

I haven't confirmed it yet, but The Almighty (Almighty) seems reunited in 1999. However, Floyd's appeared to quit the band already. Oops! Instead, as I heard, ex-Horselondon bassist Damon Williams (spelling?) temporarily joined the band. According to a rumor, they will release a new album in mid-2000. Let's see what kind of the album they'll make.
